A tea for drinking cold, which can be prepared directly with cold water.


The Dashi tea is a very refreshing Mizudashi (from mizu meaning cold water and dashi meaning result), that is prepared using cold water. It comes in biodegradable, pyramid-shaped bags which contain a mixture of green tea leaves and fine tea powder (Matcha) and this permits rapid infusion.

Preparation Method: Place one sachet in a suitable jug with about 1 litre of cold, fresh water and leave to infuse for approximately 10 minutes. After this period, stir with a spoon. It is not necessary to remove the sachet. Over time, more flavour will be released and depending on taste it is possible to add more water (up to a maximum of 1.5 litres).
