Acceptance of the general terms of sale

Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing between the parties, all orders are subject to these General Terms of Sale, which take precedence over any other documents such as brochures, press articles, catalogues, or emails issued by the seller and which have only indicative value.

Offers / Prices / Orders

All our tea offers are subject to available stock. Prices are expressed in euros, VAT included. Our offers are reserved exclusively for private customers. Delivery of the order is subject to full and effective payment of the stated price (after confirmation of receipt of payment).

Terms and conditions of payment

Payment for the goods must be made in full at the time of ordering, either via PayPal, Multibanco, or by bank transfer to our account using the following details:

Deliveries

The goods are insured by us during transport and travel at our risk. Deliveries are usually made within 4 working days within mainland Portugal and 6 working days outside mainland Portugal and islands, counting from the date of payment of the order at our office.

This delivery time is given as accurately as possible but may vary depending on supply and transport conditions as well as weather. Failure to meet the delivery deadline cannot give rise to compensation for losses or deductions. However, if 10 days after this delivery period of 3–5 days the goods have still not been delivered, the customer may cancel the sale. The customer will then receive a refund within 14 days at the latest, excluding any compensation or damages.

In any case, delivery within the indicated time frame is possible only if the client has provided accurate information about the recipient’s address. In case of error, the seller cannot be held responsible for failure to deliver the goods at the desired location or date.

Upon receipt of the goods, the recipient must check the condition of the products and make any necessary claims in case of damage, breakage, or missing items, noting their reservations on the delivery document and notifying Camélia Unipessoal Lda in writing within 48 hours.

In the event of an out-of-stock situation, we may offer the client a replacement product of equivalent value with their consent.

Withdrawal / Right of cancellation

The customer has 14 days from the date of delivery to withdraw from the purchase. Notice of withdrawal must be made in writing to Camélia Unipessoal Lda.

The return must be made in the product’s original packaging for exchange or refund, within 14 days following written notification of withdrawal. Transport costs are not refundable. We reserve the right to defer refund or exchange until receipt of the returned goods for confirmation.

If the customer exercises the right of withdrawal on an exchanged product, the return shipping costs will be at the customer’s expense.

Retention of title cause

By express agreement, ALL OUR GOODS REMAIN OUR PROPERTY, WHEREVER THEY MAY BE, UNTIL FULL PAYMENT OF ALL OUTSTANDING INVOICES. However, from the moment of delivery, all risks shall be transferred to the purchaser.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

These General Terms of Sale are subject to Portuguese law.
