Rita & Miguel Bastos chose for themselves and their children a life away from the city, closer to nature. In 2014, they moved from Porto to Arnoia/Celorico de Basto, where they began growing organic herbs on a family farm. Carefully they mainly cultivate verbena, mint, lemon balm and some species of spices such as tarragon and thyme, naturally dried.

 

 

Step by step, Rita is improving the harvesting and drying of various herbs, constantly increasing the products quality. The production of high quality herbs is the main goal of the couple, that not only cooperate with the Camélia teas, but also with their neighbour producer Isabel Teixeira.
