Characteristics
Nomikoto Organic Matcha is a matcha made from the first spring leaves of the Asatsuyu tea cultivar, resulting in a vibrant green color and delicate aromas with natural sweetness and a fruity note. This matcha is cultivated by the Hayashi family in Kirishima. The tea garden is surrounded by the Kirishima mountains, which are often shrouded in mist that gives the impression of floating islands (kiri = mist, shima = island). Miumori Matcha is produced in limited quantities.
