Matcha

Matcha tea is very rare and of exceptionally high quality. It is produced from the youngest leaves, grown in the shade and then ground to a very fine powder. It has been used since the 12th century by Buddhist monks to increase concentration during meditation and is the tea served in the tea ceremony developed in the late 15th century, based on the Zen philosophy.
