Camélia have a close partnership with the Morimoto family from the Miyazaki prefecture, in southern Japan. During their first journey to Portugal, at the end of 2012, the family visited several herb producers in the north. This resulted in the idea of a blend of Morimoto green tea and Portuguese lemongrass, and thus the Chá Príncipe was born. The name derives from the Portuguese word for lemongrass, which is erva-príncipe.
Chá Príncipe has quickly found many admirers and so the range has been extended with some products from other interesting Portuguese producers of herbs and flowers.
The series of Japanese tea with a Portuguese touch now comprises the original lemongrass, plus one of fruit and two based on flowers.
