Characteristics

The Shincha is the first harvest green tea, widely celebrated in Japan. The thin leaves of the first harvest convey the fresh and delicate scents of Spring. The Shincha Zairai is produced from the seeds of plants, a rarity today, since virtually all tea plants are obtained from cuttings.
